What We Use
Lumena uses a single item of browser localStorage — not a cookie in the traditional sense — to retain one preference: whether you have acknowledged the cookie notice banner. This value is stored only in your browser and is never sent to any server.
The key stored is lumena_cookie_pref, with a value of either "accepted" or "declined". It is used solely to prevent the banner from reappearing on subsequent visits once you have responded to it.
What We Do Not Use
This site does not use:
- Analytics cookies or tracking scripts (e.g., Google Analytics, Matomo, or similar)
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Third-party cookies of any kind
- Session recording or heatmap tools
- Behavioral profiling or user fingerprinting
- Marketing pixels or conversion tracking
CDN Libraries
Lumena loads open-source CSS and JavaScript libraries (Bootstrap, jQuery, Popper.js) from public CDN servers. This is standard web practice and does not involve the placement of tracking cookies. Lumena does not receive any data from these CDN requests.
Your Control
You can clear the stored preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site through your browser settings. If you do so, the cookie notice banner will reappear on your next visit. Disabling localStorage in your browser will prevent the banner from remembering your response, but will not affect any other aspect of the Site's content or function.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if the Site's use of storage changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
